ECO FRIENDLY: We focus on converting as many of our consumables into eco-friendly products. WATER SAVING: Our showers are fitted with water saving shower heads. We encourage guests to be conscious of our diminishing resources. We bottle our own filtered water. RECYCLING: We are always looking at minimizing our use of paper and plastic.

The story of how The Syrene came to be…
A long time ago…. 2008 to be exact, is where it all began. From a small business idea at first and a lot of passion steering the way, we began the Syrene journey. The Syrene Hotel in Rivonia construction and transformation started in 2009 and officially opened the doors in 2011. As with all things there are may joys, and challenges along the way. 14 years down the line The Syrene has grown and anchored itself to become, as the name suggests “a serene place to be”.
Happiness is the space where you get to take a breath and soak in life. Gratitude is realising that there are eternal treasures all around us no matter even when life treats you hard. You don’t have to go far to feel renewed. Step out of routine and visit the Elm Tree or stay a night with us.
